May the Holy Eucharist become ours
the center of our spiritual life
Lord Jesus, You revealed yourself and the wealth of divine life in your Sacred Heart to blessed John, which he sincerely worshiped and loved, and found in you the center of his life. You endowed him with a special supernatural gift of understanding and deep faith in the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. With his whole being, he deeply worshiped this Mystery of Your Love, receiving it daily in his heart and often worshiping it in the churches in front of the tabernacle. Through his intercession, grant us the knowledge of the Love of Your Sacred Heart so that we too can serve You in humility, witness the Love of Your Heart to others and thus spread Your Glory by bringing our brothers to eternal Salvation. Let the Holy Eucharist become the center of our spiritual life, from where we will draw strength for our sanctification and love for our neighbor. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

God, our Father, blessed John, faithful to the baptismal call to holiness, worked diligently to educate the youth in faith and Christian life. Grant us that, strengthened by his intercession and inspired by his example, we may faithfully and courageously proclaim the Gospel and bear witness for Him. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Proclamation
bl. Ivan Merz saint
Almighty eternal God, in blessed Ivan Merz you gave us a wonderful example of faith and love for Christ and the Church.
In his short life, Ivan, with the help of Your Grace, achieved many virtues and encouraged us to imitate his devotion to Your holy Will, patience in bearing the crosses of everyday life, and selfless love for our neighbor.
His tireless work for the expansion of Christ’s Kingdom in the souls of young people, brought many to You, who alone give man the true meaning of life.
Convinced that John has endeared himself to You with his holy life, we ask You to count him among the saints of the universal Church so that his example will help people on their journey to the heavenly Homeland.
Grant us the Grace to imitate the firmness of his faith, the selflessness of his love, and the apostolic zeal so that we may come closer to the ideal of Christian perfection, which he showed us with his life.
Through his intercession, grant us the necessary graces, and to You, God, to the Glory.
Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
