Prayer to the Child Jesus in the arms of St. Anthony of Padua

Jesus Christ, Son of God, who for the sake of us people and for the sake of our salvation came down from Heaven, was born of the Virgin Mary, sacrificed Himself for us on the Cross, rose gloriously and ascended to Heaven again to prepare a place for us in Him, You alone promised that you will be with us until the end of the world. You are really present with us in the Eucharistic Mystery. You strengthen your church and lead it on the way to eternity. You made your presence known among us in a visible way to many saints, especially to our saint Anthony, who received you as a child in his arms and talked with you sweetly. Give us also the Grace to receive You in Holy Communion with living Faith, to constantly feel You among us, especially in love for our neighbor, and to be always so united with You that we once deserve to see You in Heaven and in Your Glory to enjoy eternal Happiness with all the saints . Amen.
