1. Glorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ

© Risen Lord, illuminate all the darkness of our life and guide us with the Light of the Fullness of holy Eternity

From the Holy Gospel of Luke (Lk 24, 1-12)

On the first day of the week, very early, the women came to the grave with the spices they had prepared. They found the stone rolled away from the grave. They entered, but did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And while they were standing confused about it, behold, two men in shining clothes stood next to them. Terrified, they drop their faces to the ground, and they will say to them: »Why are you looking for the living among the dead? Not here, but on Easter! Remember how he told you while he was still in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinners, and crucified, and on the third day rise again.'” And they remembered those words of His, returned from the grave and reported all this eleven and everyone else.

And they were: Mary Magdalene, Ivana and Mary Jakovljeva. And the others together with them spoke this to the apostles, but to them these words seemed like nonsense, and they did not believe them.

And Peter got up and ran to the grave. Bending down, he noticed only the bandages. And he returned home wondering what had happened.

2. Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ

© Your glorious Ascension, Lord, we approach with a dignified gaze in communion with the holy apostles

The end of the Holy Gospel of Luke (Lk 24, 46-53)

At that time: Jesus said to his disciples:

“It is written like this: ‘Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and in His Name conversion and forgiveness of sins will be preached throughout all nations, starting from Jerusalem.’ You are witnesses to that. And behold, I am sending you the Promise of my Father. So stay in the city until you dress in the Force from Above.’

Then he leads them to Bethany, raises his hands and blesses them. And while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up to Heaven. They prostrated themselves to Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy and blessed God all the time in the Temple.

At that time: Jesus said to His disciples:

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will pray to the Father and He will give you another Defender to be with you forever. If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will also love him, and we will come to him and make our abode with him. He who does not love me, does not keep my words. And the word you hear is not mine, but the Father who sent me.

This is what I told you while I was staying with you. The defender – the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you about everything and call to your mind everything that I told you.”

Brothers!
When this perishable is clothed in incorruptibility

The sting of death is a sin,
the power of sin is the Law.
And thanks be to God who gives us victory
by our Lord Jesus Christ!

© May the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary sanctify us through prayer and true surrender to God, and the holiness of Humility for all Eternity

From the Book of Revelation of Saint John the Apostle (Revelation 21, 1-5a)

I, John,
I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth
because – the first heaven and the first earth passed away;
there is no sea anymore.
And the holy city,
the new Jerusalem, I saw:
comes down from Heaven from God,
equipped as a bride
adorned for her husband.
And I hear a strong voice from the Throne:
“Here is the tent, God’s with people!
He will dwell with them:
they shall be His people,
and He will be God with them.
And he will wipe every tear from their eyes
that death will be no more,
there will be no more sorrow, no moaning, no pain,
because – the previous ones passed away.«
Then He who sits on the Throne said:
“Here, I’m making everything new!”

God, all-merciful Father, listen to the prayer of your people, who honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, Your servant, and recognize Her as the Mother of Mercy and Queen of Mercy: grant us to serve You with love in our brothers so that we may become partakers of the Glory of Your Kingdom with them. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
