Dedication to the Holy Face – St. Teresa of the Child Jesus
Oh, wonderful Face of Jesus! When you already deigned to choose our souls in order to be given to them, we want to devote ourselves to you. It seems to me, Jesus, that I hear you crying: Open to me, My sisters, my dear betrothed, because my Face is covered with dew, and my hair with night drops (cf. Pj 5, 2). Our souls understand Your Speech of Love. We want to wipe Your Blessed Face and console You for the oblivion of the wicked. In their eyes, You are still hidden… They regard You as a despised being (cf. Isaiah 53:3).
Face, more beautiful than roses, more beautiful than spring lilies, you are not hidden from our eyes! The tears that obscure Your divine Look, look to us like precious diamonds that we want to collect in order to buy the infinitely valuable souls of our brothers. From Your wonderful lips we heard the sigh of Love. I understand that the Thirst you burn is the Thirst of Love; in order to make You drink, we would like to kiss endlessly.
Dearest Spouse of our souls! If we possessed the love of all hearts, we would show it to You. Good, give us that Love. Come quench your thirst with your little fiancees! Souls, Lord, we need souls. Especially the souls of the apostles and martyrs, so that through them Your Love could ignite the hearts of many poor sinners.
Oh, wonderful Face, we will know how to obtain this Grace! Forgetting our persecution, on the banks of the rivers of Babylon we will sing You the sweetest songs (cf. Ps 136, 1-4). Since You are the only true homeland of our hearts, our songs will not be sung in another country.
Beloved Face of Jesus! Waiting for the eternal Day in which we will observe Your infinite Glory, our only desire is to please Your divine Eyes, hiding our faces so that no one on Earth could recognize us. Our hidden view; here is our Heaven, oh Jesus.

Jesus, my Redeemer, I greet You, I bow down to You and I kiss You, insulted again with blasphemies. I show You through the Most Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Your divine Mother, the adoration of all angels and saints as a sweet-smelling sacrifice, and I humbly ask You to establish and restore in me and in all people Your Image, which has been disfigured by our sins, by the power of Your Holy Face. Amen.
Eternal Father, through the Immaculate Hands of the Immaculate Virgin, I present to You the Worthy Face of Your Beloved Son of every adoration, as compensation for the blasphemies against Your Holy Name and for the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.
