The Reward of Eternity

The Reward of Eternity

Reading of the Holy Gospel of Matthew
(Mt 19, 27-29)

At that time: Peter asked: “Ev0, we have left everything and followed you. What will we get for it?” Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, ye that have followed me, O regeneration, when the Son of man shall sit upon the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel. And whosoever shall leave houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.”

Word of God.

From the reality of this holy Gospel (Mt 19:27-29), let us try to live with the foretaste of what the holy Apostles experienced, while the Holy One of Israel himself spoke to them. Oh, dear God, that we may truly imitate and rejoice through the gifted Reality of Heaven.

We are left to believe deeply… It remains for us to truly imitate the zeal of the Order and the perseverance of the prayer of St. Benedict, the patron saint of our Europe… the patron saint of that Culture of the West, to whom the first reading was truly left like a testament, which today is revived and woven in the hearts of those present through St. Peter. Mass. The word of Proverbs (Proverbs 2:1-9), let us try again and again to read and understand for ourselves.

Beloved, whatever we do with surrender to God, and consecration to the Truth, as well as giving to those in need… we do it in the Name of Love, in the Reality of true Surrender.
