Reading of the Holy Gospel according to Luke (Lk 1, 26-38)
At that time: God sent the angel Gabriel to a Galilean city called Nazareth to a virgin betrothed to a husband whose name was Joseph from the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
The angel entered her and said: “Hello, full of grace! The Lord is with You!”
At that Word, she stopped and thought about what kind of greeting it would be. But the angel said to her: “Don’t be afraid, Maria! You found grace in God. Behold, you will conceive and give birth to a Son and you will call His name Jesus. He’s going to be big and he will be called the Son of the Most High. To him the Lord God will to give the throne of David, His father, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and of His Kingdom there will be no end.”
Then Mary said to the angel: “How will it be when I don’t know my husband?” The angel answered her: »The Holy Spirit will descend on You and the Force of the Most High will overshadow you. That’s why the child will be holy, Son of God. And here is your cousin Elizabeth: and she conceived a son in her old age. And to her, called barren, this is already the sixth month. Nothing is impossible for God!” Then Mary said: “Here is the servant of the Lord, let it be according to Your Word!”
And the angel departed from Her.
Dearest in Christ,
this Word, interwoven with the Holy Spirit… today in a special way wants to emphasize the Beauty, Grace, and even the Bliss of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This Word speaks about Grace… about the Grace that Mary found in God, but be sure that we have also found it. We, such ordinary mortals and small people of this time… have found through Mary and with Mary… the very Grace, which the Heart of Eternal Love… of the Living God… wants to bestow on us.
The reality of the Mother, even the Queen… seems to want to direct us even today to the majesty of not only the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ… but also to Golgotha… exactly where the real Kingdom, as if, is just beginning.
And while a completely small number of devoted lovers of Jesus Christ remain under the Cross… Simon’s prophecy is fulfilled… The sword pierces the Mother’s Heart… and the thoughts of many hearts are still being revealed today. Be sure of it.
Embracing the true, holy and even indestructible Crown of her Son… the Crown of Thorns… in the middle of Golgotha, Mary remains the Queen of all nations in the Son of the redeemed. The true Co-redeemer… Savior… for all Eternity gives birth to souls interwoven with the Holy Spirit and the prayer of Humility… holy souls… for all Eternity.
Let us, dear ones, follow the example of accepting and submitting to the reality that the Lord himself wants to give us… because as St. Elizabeth was a stimulating example for the Mother of Eternity to recognize the Power of God’s Freedom, choice, and even Omnipotence… so may our Mother, Queen of Heaven and Earth, be a stimulating example for us to accept the truth of life and reality as it is.
